See What Bespoke Software Can Do

Every business works differently. Here are some examples of the things I can build into a system designed around yours. Click around, try them, and add anything useful to your own list as you go.

Every business, person, place and number on this page is invented for the demonstration. Nothing here is a real customer or a real result.

01

Replace the spreadsheet

The spreadsheet started small, and now three people keep their own copies and nobody is sure which one is right.

Stop maintaining the same information in multiple spreadsheets.

This could be used for: job lists, enquiries, orders, bookings, repairs, anything that currently lives in rows and columns.

02

Customer map

Knowing where your customers are, and which jobs are near each other, shouldn't mean squinting at a list of addresses.

This could be used for: planning service rounds, seeing jobs by area, sending the nearest engineer, spotting where your customers cluster.

03

Form to professional PDF

Filling in a Word template by hand, saving it, converting it and renaming it takes longer than the inspection did.

This could be used for: service reports, inspection certificates, job sheets, care forms, livestock records, maintenance reports.

04

Diary & scheduling

A diary that only shows appointments can't remind you who to call back, which visits repeat, or who is working where.

This could be used for: appointments, recurring visits, staff rotas, follow-up calls created for you, prospects due a chase.

05

Customer portal

Every "can you send me a copy of..." email is time spent finding something your customer could have found themselves.

This could be used for: certificates and reports, bookings, invoices and their status, messages, account details. Each customer sees only their own information.

06

Mobile field working

Paper job sheets get wet, lost, and typed up again at the end of the week, by which time nobody remembers the details.

This could be used for: engineers, carers, inspectors, drivers, anyone who works away from the office and currently writes it down.

07

Recurring service & compliance

When renewals and inspections depend on somebody remembering, the one that gets missed is always the important one.

The software remembers what needs done, instead of relying on somebody remembering.

This could be used for: servicing, safety inspections, maintenance contracts, certificates, renewals.

08

Scheduled website content

Everyone knows the website should have useful, regular articles. Very few businesses have the time to write them.

AI can help prepare useful content, but you stay in control of what gets published.

This could be used for: regular articles and advice pages that support ongoing search visibility. Nobody can honestly promise a Google ranking, and I won't.

09

Automatic documents & email

Finishing a job usually means five more small tasks: make the report, file it, email it, note it, remember to follow up.

Several manual tasks, one action.

This could be used for: completed jobs, inspections, deliveries, new customer welcomes, quotes and their follow-ups.

10

Management dashboard

Finding out how the week is going shouldn't mean opening four systems and adding things up.

This could be used for: today's work, what's waiting on whom, follow-ups due, reports outstanding, the numbers you actually run the business on.

These are examples, not a menu

Your system would be built around your business, not these demos.

The 5-Week Plan builds the foundations of your website and business system with you in five focused weeks, then I keep developing it with you for five months, included.

Build My System

Tell Steve what you'd like to improve

Tick anything that caught your eye, then tell me how the work happens today. You don't need a specification, a budget or the right words for it. Plain English is perfect.

  • It comes straight to me, Steve Bodman
  • I'll reply personally, not a sales team
  • No obligation, and I'll say so if it isn't a good fit

Rather talk it through?

What would you like in your system? (optional)

Tick anything that might help. Nothing here is a commitment.

Optional, but useful if you would rather talk than type.

Show me what you're doing now: the spreadsheets, paperwork, double typing or reminders that live in somebody's head.

Are you interested in the 5-Week Plan?
How would you prefer to pay? (optional)

Only if you're interested in the plan. You can change your mind later.

Also interested in (optional)

Separate from the 5-Week Plan. Tick anything you'd like to talk about too.

Your details come straight to Steve and are used only to answer your enquiry. They are never sold or passed on. See the privacy policy.
