For businesses whose IT has quietly become somebody's second job.
This is business-to-business support: practices, offices, trades businesses, shops, hospitality and organisations that rely on their computers every day and want them looked after properly. I don't take on home computer repairs or one-off consumer jobs. Contracts are for businesses that want someone who already knows how they are set up when something goes wrong.
The member of staff who is "good with computers" is losing hours a week to IT.
Nobody is completely sure the backups work, or when anyone last checked.
Microsoft 365 was set up years ago by someone who has since left.
The Wi-Fi drops in the back office, and everyone has stopped mentioning it.
Computers get replaced in a panic when they fail, rather than when it suits you.
A suspicious email arrives, and there is nobody obvious to ask.
Managed IT support for the whole office.
One contract covers the everyday technology a business runs on. Not every business needs every part; we agree what matters for yours.
IT support contracts
Support time bought in advance and used as you need it, for problems, changes, new starters and the questions that come up every week.
Microsoft 365 & business email
Mailboxes, shared mailboxes, licences, calendars, staff joining and leaving, and moving email from an older system.
Business backup & disaster recovery
Backups that run, are checked, and can actually be restored, so losing a computer or a file is an inconvenience rather than a crisis.
Networks & Wi-Fi
Office networks, Wi-Fi coverage, routers and connections that work in every room people actually use.
PCs, laptops & servers
Business computers chosen, supplied, set up and replaced on a plan, and servers where a business genuinely needs one.
Remote support
Where a problem can be handled remotely, that is the first response, through a secure remote session you start yourself.
Cyber security support
Malware protection, sensible account security, suspicious emails checked, and the basic precautions every business should have in place.
CCTV, where it fits
For businesses that need it, CCTV on the same network, set up so the right people can see it and nobody else can.
Outsourced IT support, without the call centre.
A support contract means you have someone to call who already knows your computers, your accounts and your network. That is the whole point: no explaining your setup from scratch each time something goes wrong.
A conversation about your setup
What you have, what keeps going wrong and what worries you. No commitment and no charge for the conversation.
A contract sized to the business
A prepaid block of support time that suits how much help you are likely to need. Prices are discussed directly, for your business.
Remote support first, where it fits
Where a problem can be looked at remotely, that is the first response, so you are not waiting for a visit to get started.
On site when it's needed
New equipment, networks, cabling and the problems that need hands on the hardware are dealt with in person.
Every job recorded
Time is recorded against your contract job by job, so you can see exactly what it has been used for.
Problems spotted early
Ageing computers, expiring renewals and backup gaps raised before they become emergencies.

One experienced person who knows your setup.
Established 1997
Nearly thirty years of supporting business computers, email and networks, through every change in how offices work.
You talk to me
No ticket queue and no first-line script. The person who answers is the person who fixes it.
Plain English
What went wrong, what was done and what, if anything, you should do about it, without the jargon.
When IT isn't the real problem
Sometimes the trouble is a process held together by spreadsheets. That is where bespoke software development and the 5-Week Plan come in.
Frequently asked questions
Do you support home users?
No. Millennium Software's IT support is for businesses, offices and organisations, usually on an ongoing support contract. Home computer repairs and one-off consumer jobs are not something Millennium Software takes on.
Which areas do you cover?
Businesses between Aberdeen and Dundee: Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, Angus, including Montrose, Arbroath, Forfar and Carnoustie, and Dundee. Much of the work is done remotely, and on-site visits are arranged when they are genuinely needed.
How does an IT support contract work?
You buy a block of support time in advance, sized to your business. It is used as you need it, remotely or on site, and the time is recorded against your contract job by job, so you can always see where it has gone.
Can you help with Microsoft 365?
Yes. Microsoft 365 and business email are a large part of everyday support: mailboxes, shared mailboxes, licences, new and departing staff, calendars, and moving email from an older system.
Can you take over from our previous IT provider?
Usually, yes. The first job is finding out what is actually there: computers, accounts, backups, the network and who has access to what. That gives both of us a clear starting point before anything is changed.
Do you also build software?
Yes. Millennium Software's main work is bespoke business software. If a support customer's real problem turns out to be a process held together by spreadsheets, that is something that can be built, but IT support never depends on it.
